Society of Grownups
Society of Grownups was founded in 2014 by MassMutual. Their goal is to provide easily accessible financial literacy classes for “grownups.”
The Details
I was approached by Christopher Michon in 2015. We had mutual friends in the design space and they recommend me to him. Christopher invited me to come check out Society of Grownups and their space in Brookline, Mass. Their mission was simple, that wanted to provided financial literacy to “grownups,” build community, and give people a space to ask dumb questions. Christopher told me that he and his colleagues had been tasked to create three educational videos. The goal of these videos was to offer their basic classes to a larger market. In turn they wanted to drive attendance to their brick and mortar location. Working alongside Christopher and Rachel Rabinovich, CFP we created three videos to help launch Society of Grownups online presence.
Over the course of the next four years I worked closely with the team at Society of Grownups to produce 15+ classes. With each round of classes we expanded our production value by adding in animated motion graphics, overlays, and chapter markers.
